In a little more than three months since President Joe Biden declared a major disaster for southeast Michigan following the June 25-26 severe storms, flooding and tornadoes, the federal government has approved more than $270.2 million to help Michiganders with disaster-related needs.

Residents of Southeast Michigan, don’t get overlooked. Get the help you need. The deadline to apply for FEMA assistance is Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, for residents of Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Wayne counties who experienced damage or losses from the June 25-26 severe storms, flooding, and tornadoes.
