GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico – In observance of Memorial Day, all community recovery centers in Puerto Rico will close at 4 p.m. on Saturday May 25. Operations will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 with a new schedule of Tuesdays to Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico – The Vieques public community health center, or CDT, is determined eligible for replacement. An Independent Expert Panel (IEP) officially concurred with FEMA and the Central Office for Recovery, Reconstruction and Resiliency’s, or COR3, joint recommendation that funding to restore the Vieques CDT be based on the replacement value. Congress requires an IEP to review the decision to base funding on repair or replacement for certain projects.
