That is the warning issued to individuals and business owners affected by the Ice Storms from officials with the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Home owners should be sure they are dealing with FEMA officials before providing any personal information. There is never a fee or charge for any FEMA services.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that federal disaster aid has been made available for the state of Oklahoma to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area struck by severe winter storms beginning on December 8, 2007, and continuing.
