Anchorage, AK -- People affected by severe winters storms and flooding in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Kodiak Island Borough, and the Chignik Bay area have until Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, to apply for federal disaster assistance. That's the last day to apply for grant programs administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and low-interest loans provided by the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for people of Alaska who were impacted by the storms and floods that occurred Oct. 23 through Dec. 20, 2002.
