Description:

Networking devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points that are designed for forward deployment during incident response.  These devices may include functionality such as Power over Ethernet (PoE) or uninterruptable power supplies (UPS).  Units may combine functionality, such as a router that also provides PoE for hardwired connections and has built-in UPS.  These components are often ruggedized or otherwise designed for field deployment and are intended to assist in rapid deployment of wired and wireless network capability for incident command centers and other forward deployment activities.
