FEMA Takes Shelter

Main Content
A series of tornadoes hit Central Oklahoma, again, only this time FEMA was there and had to take shelter. The JFO had run several drills for the employees to know where to go in case of a tornado. It paid off. The sirens went off at 6:30 pm and everyone headed for their shelter room. Some local residents knocked at the doors to the JFO and asked if they could shelter with FEMA. About ten residents and one dog joined FEMA as tornadoes passed by during a period of two hours. - Location: Oklahoma City, OK
