Environmental & Historic Preservation Resources

FEMA funded projects must undergo Environmental and Historic Preservation (EHP) review to ensure we protect and preserve our natural and historic resources.

These tools help explain the federal environmental and historic resource laws and Executive Orders. They provide guidance specific to Region 3 states for the EHP compliance portion of the grant application process.

PHILADELPHIA – In partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the City of Philadelphia, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, members of the Pennsylvania National Guard have deployed to the federally-supported Center City Community Vaccination Center in Philadelphia.

Media Advisory

Effective March 23, 2021, the Center City Vaccination Center (CCVC) in Philadelphia, PA will exclusively administer second doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for three weeks. First doses will not be available at the CCVC during this time. Vaccination will be by appointment only for those individuals who have received an initial dose of the vaccine; walk-ups will no longer be permitted.

PHILADELPHIA – Team Rubicon, a veteran-led global disaster response organization, has deployed a response team to support the City of Philadelphia, FEMA, and other government partners at the Center City Community Vaccination Center. This site is equipped to deliver up to 6,000 doses of the lifesaving COVID-19 vaccine each day. The Philadelphia site is the first federally supported community vaccination centers in the nation to benefit from Team Rubicon’s skilled assistance.
