Acting Associate Administrator

Ms. Erin Hoffman is the Acting Associate Administrator for Resilience, where she most recently served as the Assistant Administrator for the National Preparedness Directorate (NPD). Ms. Hoffman has been with FEMA since 2012, holding various leadership positions across the agency. Her experience spans the Response Directorate, the Office of Policy and Program Analysis, and multiple roles within NPD. Prior to joining FEMA, she provided strategic advice to senior officials within the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Secretary and the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security. In these roles, she offered policy counsel on diverse topics including emergency management, biological terrorism, chemical preparedness, emerging threats, risk management, and transportation security.
