Prattville, Ala. – FEMA may refer survivors of the Jan. 12 storms and tornadoes in Alabama to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) with information on how to apply for a disaster loan. It’s important to submit the loan application as soon as possible.
Representatives from FEMA will host an in-person flood map information open house on February 15, 2023, from 6 – 8 p.m. ET and a virtual flood map information open house on February 21, 2023, from 6 – 8 p.m. ET for communities in Carroll County, Indiana.

Anchorage, Alaska – Alaskan residents recovering from September’s Typhoon Merbok are still able to apply for disaster assistance with FEMA even though the application period has ended. Survivors have until Feb. 6, 2023, to apply.
