DENTON, Texas – New flood maps have been finalized and will become effective on Feb. 23, 2023, for LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. During the next six months, a FEMA compliance specialist will work with the community to update each floodplain ordinance and adopt these new flood maps.
FEMA may provide financial assistance to applicants who have immediate or critical needs because they are displaced from their primary dwelling. Immediate or critical needs are life- saving and life-sustaining items including, but not limited to water, food, first aid, prescriptions, infant formula, diapers, consumable medical supplies, durable medical equipment, supplies for cleaning and sanitizing your home, personal hygiene items and fuel for transportation.
