Recipients' Awareness Campaign: Civil Rights Training
The Recipients’ Awareness Campaign: Civil Rights Training will inform and educate recipients and sub-recipients of FEMA financial assistance about current civil rights laws and regulations, and Executive Orders.


FEMA is seeking public comment on the Public Assistance Mitigation Cost Share Incentives Policy. The interim policy is effective for major disasters declared on or after Sept. 26, 2024, and FEMA will accept public comments on the policy for 120 days.

FEMA’s Grant Programs Directorate (GPD) is offering a series of one-hour trainings on the federal procurement under grants rules applicable to recipients and subrecipients purchasing under a FEMA grant award. These virtual trainings will be facilitated by GPD’s Procurement Disaster Assistance Team (PDAT) and will be offered on various dates from January through June 2024.
