In order to meet the statutory and FEMA requirements for supervisory training, the FEMA Leader Development Program has added additional workshop offerings, including sessions at Regional offices, fixed sites, and in the National Capital Region!
Requirement -Any individual who is in a supervisory position description and has not taken the Human Resources for Supervisors course is required to take the new workshop, Leadership Essentials by 12/31/13. Any individual hired or promoted into a supervisory position as of June 17, 2013 will participate in the full 13-month Fundamentals of Leadership Program.
This activity has been deemed mission essential, so the FEMA Leader Development Program has received approval for limited travel.
The pre-requisite for the workshop is the 60-minute L90X Orientation, which is offered through Adobe Connect. All L90X Orientations begin at 1:00pm Eastern Time. The workshop itself runs Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Employees in the greater DC area should attend a DC workshop. If you do not see your Region or National Processing Service Centers listed, please contact your training manager.
