FEMA first to implement new travel management system – Concur!

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer is in the process of implementing a new FEMA-wide travel management system - Concur. The successor to FedTraveler.com, Concur is a government-wide, web-based system, which allows access to online booking for disaster and non-disaster travel.

FEMA will be the first of the DHS components to launch this second generation e-Gov travel system. Over the next couple of weeks, OCFO will train over 500 reservist users deployed in response to Hurricane Sandy, in New York and New Jersey, to participate in a pilot program. Over the next 30 days OCFO will bring another 400-500 users from HQ support organizations into the pilot. As the pilot group grows, OCFO continues to test, validate, and refine the system’s capabilities.  OCFO plans to fully replace Fedtraveler.com with Concur by the end of November.

Concur training is provided on a just-in-time basis; once trained, travelers in that program office or Region will immediately start using the system. Below is list of Concur training courses previously scheduled and those scheduled for the very near future:
