Circle, AK, July 16, 2014-- Armed with a bear rifle to mitigate an attack, Tanana Tribal Logistics Specialist Jack Boyle returns to the tribes salmon fishing camp to retrieve FEMA chainsaws and power tools which were used for debris removal. As subsistence hunters and fisherman, FEMA funds recovery measures at the camps damaged by severe flooding using Other Needs Assistance (ONA) because this insular village depends on subsistence living for their food source.
