Norman, Okla., November 20, 2013 -- Engineers, architects and mitigation specialists (including Todd Wade, Randy Weatherly, Glenn Overcash, and Stan Carrier - at table l-r) review photos and drawings during a "Safe Schools" 101 training initiative at the Moore Norman Technology Center in Norman, OK. The state of Oklahoma with the support of FEMA is spearheading a "Safe Schools" 101 Initiative (a first-in-the-nation endeavor) to assess the integrity and safety of all its schools to protect its students from the dangers of tornadoes.
