14-year-old Tiffany Espensen, a member of FEMA’s national Youth Preparedness Council instructs a Julian Teen CERT training in San Diego. Since 2011, Tiffany has been on a personal mission to promote disaster preparedness amongst her peers throughout Southern California.  In doing so, the tenacious teen has attracted a staggering 17,000 Twitter followers who clamor for a weekly dose of disaster preparedness information on what she calls “Tiffy Tip Tuesday.
