Moore, Okla., Aug. 30, 2013 -- Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin (left) and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Tammye Treviño (center) walk around an underground safe room in the garage of a newly-constructed home in Moore. Recovery is underway in Moore, where HUD recently announced that the city will receive $26.3 million in a Community Development Block Grant following the EF-5 tornado that struck in May 2013. In addition, the State of Oklahoma will receive $10.6 million to support local recovery efforts following more powerful storms that occurred May 18 - June 2.
