Brooklyn, N.Y., Dec. 2, 2012 -- David Myers, Director of Department of Homeland Security's Center Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, explain the importance of faith based volunteer agencies during the disaster to faith volunteer crowd. Community dinner and relief operations discussion for National VOAD faith-based agencies, local partners, and New York Disaster Interfaith Services members. FEMA is working with many partners including federal, state, local and tribal governments, voluntary faith-based and community-based organizations along with the private sector to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
