This pw reimburses the eligible applicant for the replacement ofthe destroyed sports lighting system. To provide for a replacement to the damaged lighting system it is necessary to install 8 -60' high mast steel replacement poles, completed, including direct embedment to 15 feet, excavation and backfill, 75' steel pole (60' above ground), each with ladder with cage, work platfonn, bank of8 metal halide luminaires with 10000 w lamps, 480v, remote ballasts, wiring circuitry, grounding, and panels. Hazard mitigation will be achieved through a proposal to provide a better foundation for the nigh mast poles. Pre Katrina construction was direct embedment. This HMP proposes to provide a more stable concrete foundation. All work will be perfonned in a previously disturbed area with no indication of nearby waterways or other bodies ofwater.
