Hazard mitigation includes elevating the existing 5 feet by 20 feet concrete slab by 2 feet above the existing slab elevation. The new slab will be tied to the existing slab with dowels and epoxy. In addition, hazard mitigation will be achieved by compliance with current codes and standards and by good construction practices.
