Project Description: Project activities include repairing and replacing an estimated 90 alannldetection 
devices, an estimated 21 backup batteries for alarm panels, 40 ceiling-mounted smoke detectors and 
heat sensors, 30 duct-mounted sensors, and 20 fire alarm pull stations; removing and replacing 4,700 
linear feet of fire alarm fiber optic cable with splices and connections; and cleaning approximately 
2,600 linear feet of existing duct system. Hazard mitigation will be achieved by compliance with 
current codes and standards.

Comments: 7/27/06 -FEMA's Programmatic Agreement (PA), dated December 3, 2004, provides for expedited project 
review under Section 106 of the National II istoric Preservation Act (NHPA). The scope of work as submitted in this PW 
has been reviewed and meets the criteria outlined in Appendix A, Programmatic Allowances, Section II, Subsection B (l 
and 2), of the document. In accordance with the PA, FEMA is not required to determine the National Register eligibility of
