What is the purpose of the FY 2009 NSGP? The purpose of the FY 2009 NSGP is to provide funding support for target hardening activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack. 2. How much funding was available under the FY 2009 NSGP? The total amount of funds distributed under the FY 2009 NSGP was $15,000,000. Each nonprofit organization was eligible to apply through the State Administrative Agency (SAA) for up to a $75,000 grant award. 3. What is the priority for the FY 2009 NSGP? The priority was to integrate nonprofit preparedness activities with broader state and local preparedness efforts by promoting coordination and collaboration in emergency preparedness activities among public and private community representatives, State and local government agencies, and Citizen Corps Councils. 4. Who was eligible to apply for FY 2009 NSGP funds?
