I clearly remember 9/11 and my heart feels for all those loved ones who lost someone. I can say that on that day and the days following I have never been prouder to be an American. I look at my children each day and think what the future might bring for them if we don't stop these horrible individuals from planning and carrying out future attacks against the greatest nation. I don't think our only troubles lie with these hidden groups of terrorists. We need to pass laws against individuals who are harming their own people (children and adults) from devastating acts like Samantha Runion faced this passed Summer. These individuals who are found guilty beyond a shadow of doubt should face the same consequence as they pass to individuals that they harm. These terrorists, rapists, and murderers need to know that we will not stand for these acts and should have the same justice carried out that they are found guilty of. They gave up their rights the day that they raped or murdered innocent men, women, and children.

We shall never forget the sacrifice that these innocent people served. We will never forget the sacrifices that our military forces and their families live with to defend the Greatest Country on Earth - UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!

The scars are not healed, the pain still very real for all Americans.

We are still in denial to think that humans can treat other humans with such little respect for life.

When I think of the children without their parents, husbands without wives, wives without their husbands, it hurts me so and makes me relive the whole scary situation all over again.

I have so much respect and admiration for President Bush and the First Lady, and all the wonderful people who have come to the aid of our fallen victims of that horrific day..

God Bless All.

I sat before my TV in disbelief one year ago. Today I know we have grown closer together as a nation and that our spirit is bigger than ever. While I know these things, I still feel helpless to show the other half of the world that America is more than just tall buildings they can blow up and people they can frighten. We are a family that will fight for its survival and always shares with those less fortunate. Our enemies don't understand us anymore than we understand why they can try to destroy us. I pray for peace and understanding. God Bless America.

How awe inspiring that an attack that was supposed to cripple this wonderful country, has in fact, made us stronger, more united than before. I feel pity for those people whose lives and spirits are so warped by hate and anger that they could conceive and carry out a plan like this. How sad for the families of the attackers to know that their flesh and blood, their sons, brothers, uncles, could harbor hate so strong. What does it matter how we worship God, or by what name we pray to Him? We were all created by Him, through His love, and we kill each other in His name! May he have pity on us all. And may He teach us to love one another, instead. How impressive is the loving and giving spirit of the American people to reach out to the survivors, the families of the victims, and to one another. May we continue to help, love and support those whose work puts them in danger, especially those who do this work for all of our sakes. God Bless America!
