I watch new buildings go up. Even the twin towers. Never in a million years could I imagine what the skyline view would be with out them. September 13, 2002 I live in Topeka, Kansas and these are my thoughts from the events on that day. I can't imagine..... I wasn't there, and I can't imagine, I wasn't there and I can't imagine, I wasn't there to help in the rescue attempts I wasn't there to hold hands and wipe tears, I wasn't there and I can't imagine, I wasn't there and I can't imagine, These are of the Day's of Remembrance, Lord we thank you for this day, Dee I would like to thank FEMA for the great pictures. It reminds us that freedom comes with a terrible price, but a price that makes America a great nation and a nation that shows other countries how strong we are. I pray everyday that nothing like this terrible act of terror ever happens again on American soil. We will never forget the innocent people that lost their lives and pray for the families and the loved ones who has to go on living their life without their love ones. May God be with them all and God bless this great nation! Bobby I remember....I pray...I forgive....I have FAITH!!! Mi'Shon Mere words can not express my depth of feelings toward the brave people who were directly affected by the events that happened almost a year ago. You have shown what it truly means to be an American. If I could take just a small amount of your pain and grief I would. Just know that we all cry and, at times, laugh with you. For I know in this year there have come times when there has been joy for many of you. My children will proudly wear red, white, and blue tomorrow. My daughter, who is now 7, feared wearing her American flag T-shirt a year ago because she was afraid someone would come and hurt her. Now she wears it with pride. My 5 year old son wanted to know why. It is hard to explain to a child why people do the things they do. But one thing I do know you have helped show my children the true meaning of courage. Thank you and GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!!!!
