As they counted the American flags hanging from homes, and cars, starting with their own, I felt an incredible pride in us all. We have shown the world that we will not tolerate what was done to us one year ago today.- If I could take some of the pain the families and friends of lost ones are feeling today, I would. Just know that our tears flow for you and our arms ache to comfort all of you. GOD BLESS!!!!! Sheila Here we are a year later and our lives have completely changed. We have taken so much for granted in previous years that is hard to imagine what the folks in New York experienced the morning of September 11, 2001. My husband was born and raised in New Jersey and he grew up looking at those Towers, what a disappointment it is to all that so many lives have been lost and changed in a matter of minutes. My prayer is that the people that have been involved in the terror attacks and are alive be brought to justice and that all of the turmoil would go away so that we can again experience and enjoy the freedom of a wonderful country. My prayers are also with the victims and the families, the firefighters and policemen, the health professionals and all of the folks that participated in helping during this terrible tragedy. We are really a Nation under God!! God Bless America!! Lourdes Dry your tears America Daughter of Thomas F. Falloon, retired Port Authority Police officer and volunteer fireman, who passed exactly two weeks to the day after 9/11 to bring the souls of his lost brothers, never recovered, home to God. Candice First, I would like to thank FEMA for the Remembrance Gallery. What a tribute! The pictures brought tears to my eyes. To the families who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001 and those who volunteered countless hours you will for always be in mine and my families prayers. May God Bless You All. Babette I heard about the 9/11 site on one of the morning shows and liked some of the pictures very much. The site itself was more beautiful and haunting and encouraging than I had expected. Thanks for taking time to make this record available.
