As many have said I will never forget that day!!! I was just weeks away from having my second child which became my staple. I would say to my friends and family that life does go on and a new one is coming.

I grew up in Central NY and the misbelief that something so terrible could happen will stay a lasting impression on my life. I am married to a volunteer firefighter and his brother is a paid firefighter in VA knowing how many men and women gave there lives really hits home. I wish I could personally thank each an every one of them as well as there families for all they do. I really believe that life is forever changed and that firefighters and other rescue workers will always be looked at in a different light.

My heart goes out to those who lost friends and family. I truly hope that these lives where not lost in vain. May God be with everyone on this one year anniversary.

Not a day goes past that I do not think of the disaster that happened one year ago today. It was a shock to one minute be watching a movie and then the next to see the news flash that we got and then the next thing we knew we were watching as the second plane hit the Trade Center's second building. We saw both buildings collapse too and it was a big shock

In God's care I leave you always.

I remember the day as though it was yesterday, I happened to be watching the early morning news that morning and was glued to the TV set the rest of the day. I am a disabled former firefighter and a veteran from the Vietnam era. I wanted so badly to drive to NYC to help in the rescue effort but I knew that I could not, so with tears in my eyes I just sat and watched like so many others. I pray everyday for the victims, and especially my brother firefighters who were lost. I hope the end result is that all responsible for the blackest day in America will all be brought to justice, God Bless America and God Bless the victims and their families.

To all Americans but especially to those who have lost loved ones on that sad September 11 day.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Be strong and have faith in the future.

God Bless.
