It has now been one year since the attack on the World Trade Center twin towers. In 1989 & 1990 I worked in the New York District Office, and traveled from New Jersey on the Path Train into the World Trade Center train station.

What is now a pit and a graveyard was once a beautiful complex with restaurants, shops, and thousands of New Yorkers hustling to an from work.

On top of Two WTC was an observation deck with the most amazing view of New York City, New Jersey, and a bit of the Hudson River Valley. I visited there many times, most recently in 1992 with my husband Doug.

Unless you were fortunate enough to have gone there yourself, you will never really know what a treasure the WTC really was. The buildings, the people, the place was alive, and beautiful and now it is gone.

Appreciate the places and people that make you happy - it's the best way to create fond memories and ensure you have no regrets when they're gone.

I love New York. God Bless America

We look back in Remembrance but we must not spend an eternity looking back. We must turn and face the future. Our Free nations were built on visions and freedom from fear. To allow the authors of terror the satisfaction of knowing we are bound in fear and restricted by their acts of 9/11/01 is to allow them to savor victory, a victory which is the Free nations' alone to celebrate. We must deny these denisons the victory they seek by continuing to forge ahead and showing the world how Free nations live - free from fear, ever vigilant always remembering but not allowing terrorism to infect our Free ways with a virus which cripples. God Bless America, Canada, Britain and the rest of the Free world. WE WILL PRESERVER, WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS, AND WE SHALL NOT BE DEFEATED BUT WE SHALL OVERCOME.

Almighty and loving God, though clouds of terror raged through our buildings and streets on 9/11, the mind of evil did not thwart us. Even when the dust covered our spirits we united as one nation and became survivors.

Thank you for giving us the strength and courage to endure this terrible tragedy. We will not forget the terrorists' hand and will be mindful of their actions, nor we forget the thousands who died and the families who grieve for them.

Let us not forget we are all heroes keeping hope for the future. We pray for peace and your blessings upon us.

Amen.

Profound Sadness
But, with God all things are possible
That is where our healing will come from.

I am not very good at writing letters, but I thank God everyday that I live in the USA. My son was on the Roosevelt until March of this year in the Navy. He as well as myself are willing to defend the USA and her people. Many things are not perfect in this country, but it is still the best country to live in. I think the people of this country better LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT. I often wonder if people that did not like here moved to another country how long would it be before the wanted to come home. I will fly my country's flag proudly and keep UNDER GOD as my motto. People of 9-11-01 will be remembered for as long as this old world stands. Also the heroes of that day and many to follow. Let's keep united and defend our FREEDOM. Thanks for letting me tell how I feel on this day 9-10-02.

MAY GOD BLESS AND TAKE CARE OF US!
