Thank you so very much - it is very touching. Mike As the anniversary approaches, I still find it hard to believe the magnitude of what happened. I still remember my sudden urge that day to speak to my children. I called them just to hear their voices and to know they were okay and to tell them I loved them. My heart goes out to the families that never had that chance. God have mercy on the victims and their families. May we all take a second look at our families every day and give thanks and tell each other we love each other. Marge The morning of that day my daughter was confused, and mad these people took her Happy Day away. That night she wouldn't watch TV. For at least two months if we were watching clips on the 9-11 day she would shut the TV off. I told her that it's okay to be mad. Now a year later her B-Day is here again, now she's 9 years old. I try to tell her this is a day to celebrate there lives not be saddened over them. They would want it this way. I hope I'm right . Every time see or hear anything on the 9-11 moment I cry. I'm crying right now this is just still to much too take in. September 10, 2002 Just wanted to say thank you for a very moving tribute. My husband and I were in Germany on 9/11. We had only been there one day with a 100+ Americans that were driving our Model A Fords through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. The outpouring of sympathy and concern from the wonderful people in these countries was magnificent. We were truly proud to be Americans. Sharon I was driving to work when I heard the news that a plane had hit the World Trade Towers. When I arrived at work I heard that a second plane had hit. The news just got worse from there. I remember feeling such disbelief and sadness, but also anger. I didn't cry that day. But now a year later, the pain and sorrow is so great. The people who lost their lives, the families that must go on, babies who will never be held by their fathers, and loved ones. How could someone do this to innocent people? I may live in California but the impact of that day is just as real to us here as the great people of New York. God bless you each and every day of your lives. And God Bless America....
