I hope that this never happens again to our country and its people. May God Watch Over Us All.

My heart still weeps for those of us that are left behind who will live with this horrendous tragedy of death and destruction for the rest of our lives, especially for those whose loved ones were taken away by such evil forces. We have been raped of our feeling of security. We should take comfort in knowing that God was there with each one of those who left this earth to be with him and also with all of us as we watched the devil lash out. I thank God for the ones who were there to pick up the pieces; firemen, policemen, clergy, military, and countless others who we will never know of. God's angels were among us that day and still are. The Americans have shown great strength and camaraderie and I believe God is proud of our nation. We are The United States of America and I do pledge my allegiance to the flag for which it stands, one nation under GOD.......

There are no words...my spirit and soul have the memory of 9/11 etched forever. I can continue to wonder how this tragedy happened or I can choose to believe we as a nation will become stronger. I have to put my energy in being a better person and leave the negativity behind. There is not a day that goes by that I do have a reality check of how blessed I am. The events of 9/11 put so much in focus. The sadness can be overwhelming but the courage and faith of so many left behind is such an inspiration. The heroes of that day are in my daily prayer. God has blessed America and will continue to do so.

The FEMA Remembrance Gallery is a wonderful tribute to those who died, to those who participated in the rescue efforts and to the resolve of our country.  I pray daily for those who died, those who were left behind and for the leaders of our great nation.  I remember the shock and disbelief  I felt on this day... the confusion and then the anger.  It was truly amazing the way we pulled together, put our differences aside and came together as one..strangers were embraced as life long friends.. I simply wish we as a Nation would remember these moments and keep the peace in our hearts toward one another.  God Bless the USA.

They say that when you lose a loved one each day gets better to deal with the loss. I don't think that any of us will ever be able to deal with this magnitude of a loss. My life as well as everyone else's life has changed forever. No longer are we a carefree nation. We must all learn from this tragedy and live each day cautiously forever looking over our shoulders. This makes me sad and mad at the same time. How dare this man change our lives like he has!!

I lived 5 minutes away from the Atlanta Airport and was used to hearing the airplanes going over my house. That day and many days after there were no planes, no birds singing, no sound. Just utter silence. I hope we never have to endure such a tragedy EVER again.

Thank you to all of the rescue personnel around the world. YOU ARE TRUE HEROES. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
