July 10, 2013 - News Release

NOVA YORK – A Agência Federal de Gerenciamento de Emergências, a pedido do Estado de Nova York, aprovou uma extensão de 30 dias para o programa de Assistência de Acomodação Temporária (TSA), que permite aos sobreviventes elegíveis de furacão Sandy que não podem voltar para suas casas ficarem em hotéis participantes. A data de saída do TSA foi estendida para 06 de agosto de 2013. A FEMA vai chamar os cadastrados elegíveis para a nova extensão e notificá-los sobre a nova data de saída.

NOVA YORK – Quatro Centros de Recuperação de Desastres nos condados de Nassau e Suffolk se tornarão Centros de Apoio a Empréstimos relativos ao Desastre a partir das 9h, na quarta-feira, 1° de maio.Os centros, operados pela  Associação de Pequenas Empresas dos EUA, estará aberto de segunda à sexta, das 9h às 18h, e aos sábados, das 9h às 15h.

Public Assistance - Dollars Approved

Public Assistance (PA): Disaster grant assistance available for communities to quickly respond to and recover from major disasters or emergencies declared by the President

Emergency Work (Categories A-B): Work that must be performed to reduce or eliminate an immediate threat to life, protect public health and safety, and to protect improved property that is significantly threatened due to disasters or emergencies declared by the President

Permanent Work (Categories C-G): Work that is required to restore a damaged facility, through repair or restoration, to its pre-disaster design, function, and capacity in accordance with applicable codes and standards
