NIMSCAST

The NIMS Compliance Assistance Support Tool (NIMSCAST) is designed as the premier, web-based self-assessment instrument for State, territory, tribal, and local governments to evaluate and report their jurisdiction’s achievement of all NIMS implementation activities released since 2004. The NIMSCAST is designed for the emergency management community as a comprehensive self-assessment support tool.

State Preparedness Report (SPR)
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Preparedness Directorate (NPD) recently announced the release of the 2010 State Preparedness Report (SPR) web-based, quantitative survey tool accessible at https://federalrac.dsbox.com/npdspr. Access to the survey tool is restricted to approved State representatives. Technical assistance will be coordinated through your respective FEMA Region.

Grants Reporting Tool
The Grants Reporting Tool (GRT) is used by grantees to submit HSGP Investment Planning Worksheets as part of the final Investment Justification (IJ ), and is the only method by which grantees can apply for Federal preparedness and homeland security grants.

Logistics Capability Assessment Tool
The Logistics Capability Assessment Tool (LCAT) was created to help States conduct self-assessments to determine their readiness to respond to disasters. The survey-style tool provides a detailed evaluation of core logistics functions; helps local, county, tribal, and State jurisdictions identify specific strengths and weaknesses; and constructs a systematic roadmap for States to improve upon current logistics processes and procedures.
