The 4th Annual HAZUS Conference will be held August 23-25, 2010 at the Indiana Government Center Complex (South Building) in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The HAZUS Conference has become the premier risk assessment conference for GIS specialists, emergency managers, geologists, state/local planners and the like. This year’s conference will include two and a half days of educational sessions, hands-on training, and one-of-a-kind networking opportunities.

HAZUS Conference attendees are encouraged to submit abstracts. The program committee will evaluate abstracts based on quality and relevance. All submissions are held in confidentiality prior to publication in the proceedings.

The 3rd Annual HAZUS Conference took place in Raleigh, North Carolina August 10-12, 2009. This year’s conference brought together approximately 200 new users, experienced users, and interested users of HAZUS-MH, first responders, local government decision makers, planners and GIS specialists. Conference proceedings will be available in the coming weeks.
The 2008 Annual HAZUS-MH conference was held August 5-7 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego. The conference brought together a diverse audience of emergency managers, model developers, GIS professionals, educators, and risk management specialists to share expertise and experience in the development and use of HAZUS-MH. The HAZUS-MH Annual Users Conference on June 19-21, 2007, hosted by ESRI, brought together over 400 HAZUS-MH users from 19 nations to discuss a wide range of topics related to the HAZUS-MH model development and applications for risk assessment, planning and preparedness.
