HAZUS-MH FAQs: Hurricane Model - Study Region
While creating a study region based on a hurricane track, I receive a “Please insert DVD” message during aggregation. If I do not have the required DVD, can I complete study region aggregation with the state data that I have?
The short answer is yes. Begin the process again by selecting hurricane from the Create New Region/Hazard Type window and going through the Hurricane Scenario Wizard to select the track. After clicking “Finish” select either state, county or census tract in the Create New Region/Aggregation Level window. In the Create New Region/State Selection window that follows, unselect any states for which you do not have data. The study region will be aggregated with state(s) that remain selected.
