The Flood Model works at the census block level. When a multihazard study region is defined with hurricane and flood hazards, the Hurricane Model operates at the census block level to be consistent with the Flood Model. Note that each census block within a given census tract will have the same wind speed and default terrain when the Hurricane Model operates at the census block level. However, the inventory, damage, and loss will vary from block to block.
You cannot revert to viewing the hurricane data for this study region by census tract. To work at the census tract level, you are required to create a new study region without the flood hazard.
