What should I do if I get Problem Reaches in Hydrology?

Problem reaches are reaches for which regression equations and/or data are not available.  When computing the flood hazard, analysis for a specific return period or suite of return periods will not be available for reaches designated as ProblemReaches. Input of discharges will be required to develop the flood hazard grids for ProblemReaches.

At the end of the hydrology process, a message box will pop up prompting the user that Problem Reaches exist in the scenario and to choose whether or not to keep the problem reaches as a part of the scenario.  If the user selects 'Yes,' all problem reaches will be automatically removed from the scenario.  If the user selects 'No,' a new layer, ProblemReaches, will appear on the map.

If the user selected 'No' and later decide they want to remove problem reaches, users can manually edit the scenario to exclude problem reaches by using the Scenario Edit tool.
