HAZUS-MH MR3 FAQs: Earthquake Model Hazard/Scenario Definition
Can I make use of my predefined ground deformation maps in addition to the ground shaking maps?
Yes, assuming they are in Geodatabase format. In the Scenario Wizard:
1. Select the option Hazard | Scenario under the main menu.
2. Activate the Define a new scenario button and press Next.
3. Activate the user-supplied hazard option and press Next.
4. Define the maps to be used in the analysis.
See Appendix K of the HAZUS User's Manual for instructions on how to convert shape-file-based user-supplied hazard maps or shake maps to corresponding GeoDatabases-based user-supplied hazard maps that can be used with HAZUS.
