How is soil information used for analysis based on census tracts and specific buildings in a HAZUS loss estimation analysis?

For analysis by census tract, soil information is read for the centroid of the census tract. For site specific facilities (e.g., schools, hospitals, lifelines), the soil information is read for the site location.
