HAZUS-MH MR3 FAQs: Data and Databases
HAZUS only provides ethnic information for six groups: Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Pacific Islanders, Native Americans, and Asians. How can I account in the analysis for people from different ethnic groups not listed above?
One simple way to overcome this shortcoming in HAZUS is to include the missing population with one of the ethnic groups provided and keep track of that when interpreting shelter results.
