Description of Duties:
- Regional contact for building sciences issues
- Responsible for engineering related issues and processes for the National Flood Insurance Program including Flood Insurance Studies and letter actions for map changes
- Carry out technical services in support of disaster recovery efforts including field data collection immediately following disasters and benefit/cost analysis for proposed mitigation projects
- Responsible for providing technical support to study contractors and communities in Region III
