Belmar, N.J., Jan. 21, 2013 -- Powerful pile driving machinery drives boardwalk pilings into the substrate during the continued recovery and rebuilding phase of the disaster caused by Hurricane Sandy. Through the Public Assistance (PA) Program, FEMA provides supplemental Federal disaster grant assistance for debris removal, emergency protective measures, and the repair, replacement, or restoration of disaster-damaged, publicly owned facilities and the facilities of certain Private Non-Profit (PNP) organizations.
