Brooklyn, N.Y., Dec. 1, 2012 -- Surge volunteer Peter Zarella works at the registration of the Disaster Recovery Center at the local IKEA to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Residents are encouraged to visit the center to register for assistance if they have not done so, or to visit if they have questions regarding their applications or to get information about other programs for which they may be available.
