Brooklyn, N.Y., Nov. 28, 2012 -- Representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), among others view the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as they perform an Air Curtain Burn of over 77,000 cubic yards of vegetative debris at Floyd Bennett Field. FEMA is working with various partners including federal, state local and tribal governments, voluntary faith-based and community-based organizations, along with the private sector, to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
