Nassau County, N.Y., Nov. 14, 2012 -- Federal Coordinating Officer Michael Byrne talks with the press about the new program FEMA has created to assist survivors and help them to get back to their homes as quickly as possible. A press conference was held at the Office of Emergency Management of Nassau County, NY. FEMA is working with many partners including federal, state, local and tribal governments, voluntary faith-based and community-based organizations along with the private sector to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
