Branford, Conn., Nov. 13, 2012 -- FEMA Contractor Inspector Mike Reilly visits the home of flooding survivor Nancy Burke. Inspectors will always wear a badge stating they are a FEMA contractor, and they will also share with applicants an informational sheet describing the inspection process. FEMA contracts with professional inspectors who visit the homes of all applicants reporting damage to homes and/or personal property as soon as possible after a home becomes accessible.
