Breezy Point, N.Y., Nov. 8, 2012 -- Over a hundred houses were destroyed from a fire that started during Hurricane Sandy. A marking on the foundation of a house indicates that the house had been searched. FEMA is working with many partners including federal, state, local and tribal governments, voluntary, faith-based and community-based organizations, and the private sector to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
