New Orleans, La, August 31, 2005 - National Guardsmen, aided by other evacuees, help a woman off the bed of a military transport truck used to bring victims from the flooded areas to the main staging areas. Trucks, boats and helicopters are being used to carry victims of Kurricane Katrina which flooded the area following landfall on August 29 to safety.
