In Spring 2007, the Incident Management Systems Division of the National Integration Center will complete its integration
of a new module to the NIMCAST, resulting in an improved NIMS Compliance
Assistance Support Tool (NIMSCAST) NIMSCAST now reflects the FY 2007 NIMS
compliance metrics, released to States, territories, Tribal entities, and
local governments in October 2006.
The support functions of the NIMSCAST have been reviewed and greatly enhanced
based on the feedback we have received since the tool was first launched
in January, 2005. Please let us know (via Questions/Comments link) if there are features
that are not working for your purposes, or if there are additional features
or reports that would assist you in implementing the NIMS nationwide.
All established accounts, user permissions and/or rolled-up assessments that
were previously entered in the NIMCAST have been maintained in the NIMSCAST.
