DENVER – Bilingual (English and Spanish) Social Security representatives from the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) will be at the Longmont Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Boulder County on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 25 and 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hours: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week
Bilingual representatives will be available to answer questions and provide information about Social Security for disaster survivors.
Representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Small Business Administration are among the agencies represented at each DRC to explain assistance programs and help survivors apply for disaster aid.
For individuals who have hearing and visual disabilities or are deaf, Disaster Recovery Centers can provide such accommodations as:
• Captioned telephones, which transcribe spoken words into text
• The booklet “Help After a Disaster” in large print and Braille
• American Sign Language interpreters, available upon request
• Magnifiers and assistive listening devices
• 711-Relay or Video Relay Services
Survivors with losses from the storms, flooding, mudslides or landslides will save time by registering for help from FEMA before going to a DRC.
