HARRISBURG, Pa. -- The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) will open a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Huntingdon County this Wednesday for two weeks to help the county’s residents and business owners recover from the recent storms and flooding.

Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed Sunday. The DRC will be open on Veteran’s Day, November 11.

Disaster officials recommend that you register with FEMA before visiting the DRC so if you have any questions about the application process they can be answered face to face. Once you register you may visit any DRC regardless of where you live or work to check the status of your application.
To register for assistance, call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). Disaster assistance applicants who have a speech disability or hearing loss and use TTY may call 1-800-462-7585. Register online at DisasterAssistance.gov; the screens will prompt you through the registration process. You can also apply by web-enabled device at m.fema.gov.
