SAN JUAN, PR -- The Government of Puerto Rico and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) officials announced that the State/Federal Disaster Recovery Center in Carolina will transition into a Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) on Monday, October 24, 2011.
The DLOC will be open for one week in Carolina at the same location until Friday October 28, 2011. The DLOC operating hours will be from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. at the following location:

The SBA provides low-interest disaster loans to help homeowners, renters, businesses and private non-profit organizations of all sizes to cover the cost of repairing or replacing lost or damaged structures and personal property, including economic injury losses for small businesses and private non-profits. SBA loan amounts and terms are determined on an individual basis. The disaster assistance process cannot continue until survivors return their SBA loan application.
SBA applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA's secure Web site at disasterloan.sba.gov/ela. Disaster loan information and application forms are also available from SBA's Customer Service Center by calling SBA toll-free at 1 (800) 659-2955, emailing email@example.com, or visiting SBA's Web site at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance.
